Governor hosts ‘At Home’ reception on Republic Day in Vijayawada

Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and his wife Sameera Nazeer hosted an ‘At Home’ reception at the Lok Bhavan premises on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day on Monday.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with his wife N. Bhuvaneswari, Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and his wife Gudiya Thakur, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and his wife Anna Lezhneva attended the programme and exchanged pleasantries with the Governor and Ms. Sameera Nazeer.

A.P. Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta, HRD Minister N. Lokesh, Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, A.P. Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Zakia Khanam, Backward Classes Welfare Minister S. Savitha, Agriculture Minister K. Atchannaidu, Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Industries Kondapalli Srinivas, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana, Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra and Transport and Sports Minister Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy were among those present.

Several MPs, MLAs and MLCs, High Court judges, the Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners of the A.P. Information Commission, All India Service officers, political leaders and defence service personnel also attended the reception.
