Elevator maker Kone on Monday inaugurated its central regional office in Hyderabad to strengthen presence across some of India’s fastest-growing urban markets.

The office will cover a diverse and rapidly expanding market spanning Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, covering important cities such as Hyderabad and Warangal; Nagpur and Amravati; Bhopal and Indore; and Raipur. This regional structure brings leadership, engineering, service and digital capabilities closer to customers, enabling faster decision-making and stronger local execution across projects, the company said after Philippe Delorme, President and CEO of Kone and Amit Gossain, Managing Director, Kone India and South Asia inaugurated the office.

“India’s urban growth is increasingly multi-dimensional with strong momentum across both established cities and fast-emerging urban centers,” Mr.Delorme said in a release.

Hyderabad serves as the headquarters for the central region offering strong connectivity, robust talent ecosystem and proximity to multiple high-growth markets. Mr.Gossain said the region hosts some of India’s most promising urban markets.
