Deploring YSR Congress Party (YSRCP)’s ‘target Tirumala’ agenda, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board member G. Bhanuprakash Reddy said the TTD former chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy was destroying the sanctity of the world famous Hindu temple by fabricating false evidence of alleged wrongdoings.

The TTD would not remain a mute spectator to the mischievous deeds of the YSRCP, he warned.

Addressing media persons here on Monday (January 12), Mr. Bhanuprakash Reddy said Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy dismissed the Parakamani theft case as an insignificant matter as if nothing happened.

Mr. Reddy further said betraying Lord Venkateswara was as grave a crime as treason against the country, and asserted that those committing crimes related to the TTD would be punished under the law. The YSRCP government had  turned thieves into donors, hinting at the accused in the Parakamani theft donating huge sums to the TTD.

“Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has been trying hard to malign the Tirumala temple as part of the YSRCP’s political agenda. But, we will not keep quiet if they continue targeting Tirumala and Hindu culture and traditions,” he added.
