Nellore-based independent power producer SEIL Energy India Limited conducted the ‘bhumi puja’ for the construction of SEIL Foundation Hospital at Brahmadevam village in Muthukur mandal on Thursday. As a part of its foundation day celebrations, the company conducted a series of events.

The hospital is being built under the company’s CSR initiative, aimed at providing quality healthcare services to the local community. Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy attended the event as the chief guest. He appreciated SEIL Energy’s CSR contributions of ₹20 crore to construct the hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “This hospital is coming up to serve the poor people in four mandals – Muthukur, TP Gudur, Venkatachalam and Nellore Rural. Having all the necessary facilities, it will be built on 1.87 acres of land. A nursing training college will be set up on 18 cents of land on the other side of the road.”

SEIL Energy India CEO Janmejaya Mahapatra said, “We are grateful for the support of our stakeholders, employees, and the community. Our CSR initiatives, such as the SEIL Foundation Hospital project, demonstrate our commitment to give it back to the community and making a positive impact on society.”
