The Andhra Pradesh State Cabinet on Monday reviewed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government’s performance in 2025, declaring it a breakthrough year marked by inclusive governance, economic growth, and social welfare.

The Cabinet highlighted that welfare outlays exceeded ₹50,000 crore, directly benefiting 46 lakh farmers and 67 lakh students. Under the Thalliki Vandanam scheme, ₹10,090 crore was disbursed supporting 67.27 lakh students, while Stree Shakti enabled 3.25 crore women’s bus journeys. Free transport for persons with disabilities and pension portability further reinforced inclusion.

Farmers received ₹6,310 crore via Annadata Sukhibhava, alongside LPG support through Deepam–2 and pension disbursements under NTR Bharosa. Dedicated schemes for fishermen, auto drivers, and the urban poor strengthened livelihoods. Minority welfare saw ₹3,670 crore allocations, enhancing equity and social harmony.

Education and health reforms included the recruitment of 15,941 teachers and 5,757 police personnel, health coverage for 75 lakh students, and expansion of medical seats under PPP models.

Economic growth surged with 610 MoUs generating proposed investments of ₹13.25 lakh crore and over 16 lakh potential jobs, bolstered by MSME development and double-digit GDP growth of 11.28%. Infrastructure achievements encompassed roads, irrigation, rural connectivity, and the Amarajeevi Jaladhara tap water initiative, reaching 1.21 crore residents.

Governance reforms prioritised transparency, disaster preparedness, and Centre–State coordination, reviving nearly 90 central schemes and securing support for national projects.

The Cabinet concluded that 2025 laid a strong foundation for sustainable development, social justice, and global competitiveness, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive, welfare-driven growth aligned with citizens’ aspirations.
