Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday directed officials of the Endowments Department to introduce a volunteer-based system, similar to the Srivari Sevakulu model, in all temples across the State.

The Chief Minister issued these instructions while reviewing the performance of various departments through the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS).

During the review, the Chief Minister assessed the functioning of departments like Revenue, Agriculture, Civil Supplies, Medical and Health, Transport, Fire Services, and Endowments, with special focus on field-level performance.

The Chief Minister said Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Urban PHCs, Community Health Centres (CHCs) and district hospitals must offer better facilities and maintain high standards of cleanliness. He instructed Collectors to closely monitor key departments and ensure regular reviews of government offices and hospitals frequently visited by the public.

Mr.  Naidu directed that surveys be conducted without errors and without causing inconvenience to citizens. The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of soil testing to assess fertility and nutrient levels, and to educate farmers on sustainable farming practices, including reduced urea usage.

He called for close coordination between the Agriculture and Health departments to improve public health, particularly at the grassroots level through Rythu Seva Kendras (RSKs) and PHCs.

He instructed officials to prevent complaints during paddy procurement and warned that strict action would be taken against millers attempting to tarnish the government’s image.

He also called for improved performance from the Transport Department, including the establishment of automated driving test centres across the State. He also praised the Fire Services Department for its performance.
