HYDERABAD

Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy chose an innovative way to reach out to the newly elected Sarpanches in 968 villages in his constituency, by sending sweet boxes and greeting cards to Sarpanches of all political affiliations.

As part of the outreach, the MP also sent a sweet box and New Year greetings to Guntakandla Ramachandra Reddy, Sarpanch of Nagaram village and father of BRS MLA and former Minister Jagadish Reddy, known for his fierce criticism of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

Mr. Reddy called upon the Sarpanches to actively collaborate with “Praja Palana” (people’s rule) under the Congress-led government led by Mr. Revanth Reddy, and keep aside political affiliations till the elections. He reminded that village-level leadership was crucial for the overall development of the State.
