Student elections should be held in all universities across the country so that the society can find efficient leaders, said Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) national secretary Shravan B. Raj. He was addressing the people in a public meeting held at Addanki bus stand in Ongole, on Saturday.

The public meeting was a part of the 44th State conference of the ABVP Andhra Pradesh chapter. On the occasion, the ABVP national secretary criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of misleading the people through ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and allegations of ‘vote theft’. He said that everyone in the country was celebrating 150 years of Vande Mataram irrespective of the region.

ABVP national executive member Vedashree, A.P. State secretary Yaganti Gopi, joint secretaries Akhil and Mallikarjun, and others participated in the meeting.
