BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin to visit Patna on December 23

Bihar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Sanjay Saraogi on Friday (December 19, 2025) said that the party’s National Working President, Nitin Nabin, will arrive in Patna on December 23, and the party has organised a grand welcome at Miller High School.

The BJP’s parliamentary board on Sunday (December 14, 2025) had notified the appointment of former Bihar Minister and five-term MLA Mr. Nabin as the party’s national working president. On December 15, he went to New Delhi to meet the top leaders of the party and since then, he is busy over there meeting the party leaders.

Mr. Nabin is expected to be formally elected the president in January 2026.The party will endorse the election at its National Council meeting in April.

Mr. Saraogi said that BJP workers, along with the people of Patna and Bihar, had been eagerly awaiting this day, and now the wait is finally coming to an end.

“Not only party workers but the entire city of Patna is prepared to welcome Bankipur MLA and National Working President Nitin Nabin ji. The city is being decorated for his arrival,”Mr. Saraogi said while accompanied by Bihar BJP Media In-charge Danish Eqbal.

Sharing the details of his visit, he informed that Mr. Nabin will arrive at Patna Airport at 12:30 PM on December 23. From there, he will proceed to the Mahavir Mandir at Rajvanshi Nagar, where he will offer prayers.

Thereafter, he will travel to Punaichak to the area near the Patna High Court, where he will pay floral tributes to the life-size statue of Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.

He will then offer floral tributes at the statue of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan near the Income Tax roundabout before reaching the Miller High School Ground, where Bihar BJP will give him a grand welcome. 

Mr. Saraogi said that lot of preparation are are underway for the felicitation ceremony and described the occasion as a significant day for the people of Bihar.

After assuming charge of the state president, Mr. Saraogi said during his first press conference held at the BJP State Office.

Expressing gratitude for the responsibility entrusted to him, he thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, National Working President Nitin Nabin, and the entire central leadership.

He thanked the leadership for assigning this responsibility asserting that he would work with full dedication to live up to that trust.

Mr. Saraogi asserted that he had not been given a position, but a responsibility in the party. Assuring the central leadership, he added that Bihar BJP would play its honest role in realising Prime Minister’s resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047.

He pointed out that efforts would be made to ensure that the voice of party workers reaches the government and that strong coordination is established between the organization and the government.

After the press briefing, he visited the house of former Union Minister C P Thakur and former governor Ganga Prasad to seek their blessing and guidance.
