Speaking at the inaugural session of ‘Blitzkrieg’, organised by the Computer Science Students’ Union of P. B. Siddhartha College of Arts and Science at the Siddhartha Auditorium on Friday, Mr. Suresh Babu said continuous upskilling was essential to stay competitive in the technology-driven world.

The day-long celebrations featured a series of competitions and cultural programmes. A large number of students took part in events such as paper and poster presentations, technical quiz, coding and decoding, treasure hunt, spot photography, and Mr. and Miss Blitzkrieg.

College Principal Meka Ramesh, Head of the Computer Science Department T. S. Ravi Kiran, Vice-Head Koneru Sudhir, and Dean Rajesh Jampala urged students to strengthen their knowledge of computer science, noting that the discipline had fundamentally reshaped the modern world.

Event co-coordinator and Head of the Placement Training Cell Kavuri Sridhar said ‘Blitzkrieg’ had been organised every year since 2006 with the objective of encouraging creativity and technical aptitude among computer science students through a range of competitive events.
