Train services on Bengaluru Metro’s Yellow Line will begin one hour later than the scheduled time on Sunday, December 21, due to urgent systems maintenance and upgradation works being undertaken to optimise operations, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said in a release.

According to BMRCL, the first train on the Yellow Line will depart at 8 a.m. instead of the usual 7 a.m. The services will thereafter run as per the regular Sunday timetable. The revised timing will be in effect only for a single day on December 21 and will not impact services beyond that date, release stated.

BMRCL clarified that there will be no changes to train operations on the Purple Line and the Green Line, which will function as per their normal schedules.
