Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath asked party leaders to work towards resolving the problems of the people. Mr. Bharath addressed the party leaders during the oath-taking ceremony of the newly-appointed party’s Kurnool Assembly constituency cluster, co-cluster, unit, ward and booth committee members, on Sunday.

The Minister asked the party cadre to identify the issues concerning the general public and resolve them. Mr. Bharath said he had entered politics to develop Kurnool and added that the district had made rapid strides in development since the NDA government came to power.

Mr. Bharath asserted that only leaders with good reputation will get recognition and the party would give tickets to contest in the upcoming local bodies elections to those who rank good in the surveys conducted by the party. “I was given the party ticket to contest as an MLA in the 2024 elections based on survey results,” he said.

“I will identify the three main problems in every ward of Kurnool Municipal Corporation and resolve them. As promised by TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh before elections, we have given land pattas to the Gudem Kottala residents in Kurnool. We are also chalking out plans for development of A, B, and C camp quarters in the city,” he said.

Mr. Bharath said that a High Court Bench and Collectorate would be constructed in the A, B, and C camp area. He alleged that some people with vested interests were resorting to malicious propaganda against him and warned of legal action against such people. He asked the party leaders to use social media to publicise the government programmes and achievements.

The Minister also said that Anantapur-Kurnool will be developed as an industrial corridor.
