Fire at autorickshaw godown in Thane; no casualty

A fire broke out on Sunday (December 14, 2025) morning at a godown storing autorickshaws in Maharashtra’s Thane district, officials said. No casualties were reported, they said.

The authorities were alerted at 5:.45 a.m. about the blaze at the godown, where autorickshaws were kept, at Kalher in the Bhiwandi area, a fire official said. A fire brigade team rushed to the spot, and efforts were on to douse the blaze, he said. The cause of the fire was not yet known.
