Andhra Minister Savitha inspects tribal welfare hostel

Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Minister S. Savitha on Monday (December 8, 2025) conducted a surprise visit of Tribal Welfare girls hostel at Penukonda where she enquired about the problems of the inmates in the hostel.

During her visit, Ms. Savitha inspected the accommodation provided to the students, quality of the food, water supply and sanitation in the hostel. She interacted with the inmates and sought to know the problems they are facing in the hostel. Ms Savitha enquired the students whether the quality of food served is good and if the atmosphere in the hostel is conducive for their studies.

Ms. Savitha further enquired about the security arrangements at the hostel, hygiene in the kitchen, cleanliness in the rooms, and whether medical check-up’s were performed or not.

She suggested the students to practice yoga and meditation daily for a healthy life. Having her morning walk with the students in the hostel premises, Ms Savitha asked the officials concerned to resolve the problems raised by the students. She assured the students of providing more facilities for the development of the hostel.
