Criticising the DMK government over the recent incidents of crime in various parts of the State, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Sunday said the Chief Minister should focus on maintaining law and order in the State. Referring to recent cases of violence, including those involving school students, he said in a social media post that such incidents were on the rise under the DMK government.

“The overall law and order situation in Tamil Nadu is in shambles. When will the puppet Chief Minister realise this? I insist that the DMK government focus on the law and order situation, at least in the last four months of its tenure,” Mr. Palaniswami said.
