Bollywood superstar and host Salman Khan paid a heartfelt tribute to veteran actor Dharmendra on the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19. He became teary-eyed as a tribute video of the legendary actor played on stage.
The moment left, contestants and viewers touched, who gave a standing ovation. Salman further added, “We lost the He-Man. We lost the most amazing man. I don’t think there is anyone better than Dharmji. The way he lived life was king-size. He gave us Sunny, Bobby and Esha. Since the day he joined the industry, he only wanted to work. He did so many roles. My career graph… I have only followed Dharmendra ji in my career graph. Masoom chehra aur He-Man ki body lekar aaye the. And he had that till the last of his days. And we will always miss you Dharam ji.”
Salman Khan also added, “Hats off to Sunny and Bobby for conducting Dharmendra’s prayer meet with such dignity.”
About Dharmendra’s death
Veteran actor and the He-Man of Bollywood breathed his last on November 24, 2025, after being discharged from Breach Candy hospital, where he was admitted for more than a week. After a prolonged illness, Dharmendra bid goodbye to the world, but his majestic work in films will be remembered by generations.
Salman remembered the actor during the Bigg Boss 19 finale episode and said, ‘Dharam ji died on November 24, which is the birth date of my father, Salim Khan, and tomorrow, December 8, is his and my mother’s birthday. So yeah, he and my mother shared the same birth date’.
For the unversed, the Anupamaa actor Gaurav Khanna emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 19.
