Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma and BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav unveiled the poster and logo for the Atal Sandesh Yatra (Atal-Modi Suparipaalana Yatra) on Saturday.

Atal-Modi Suparipaalana Yatra is a State-wide event being organised by the BJP from December 11 to 25 to spread former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s message of good governance as part of his birth centenary celebrations.

The event will start at Dharmavaram in Anantapur district on December 11 and conclude in Amaravati on December 25, Vajpayee’s birthday.

Addressing the media, Mr. Srinivasa Varma said Vajpayee had left an indelible mark on the hearts of the people through his distinct brand of good governance and ethical conduct in politics.

India had made rapid strides during Vajpayee’s tenure as the Prime Minister, with Golden Quadrilateral (National Highways) project being his most commendable achievement, said Mr. Varma, while recalling the daring feat of testing the nuclear weapon in Pokhran.
