Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Samrat Choudhary on Saturday (December 6, 2025) directed the formation of a special team to prevent the leak of question papers.

He said strict action must be taken against the culprits, including the confiscation of their properties.

Mr. Choudhary, who holds the Home portfolio, also directed officers to immediately seize and auction vehicles used in illegal mining. He issued the orders while chairing a review meeting with senior officers, including Director General of Police Vinay Kumar, on law and order at the police headquarters.

The Minister launched the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems portal, describing it as a major step towards making policing more accessible and transparent through e-governance.

He said the portal will provide people with easy access to police services, eliminating the need for frequent visits to police stations.

Through this portal, citizens will be able to register complaints online, helping establish better coordination between the police and the public, he added.
