E.S. Rakesh Pai, the LDF candidate for Chathari ward (no.16) in Tripunithura municipality, is using podcasts to share his development vision and reach out to voters.

“Why is it that people are not really happy even though they own a piece of land, a house or have a job? This is something we should ask ourselves,” he says, promising to set up ‘happiness centres’ in the ward if elected.

These centres would serve as hubs for recreational and leisure activities aimed at improving individual well-being. The project could eventually be scaled up for implementation across the State, addressing the larger issue of mental health and ways to enhance it among the population, Mr. Pai explains in one of the podcast episodes.
