Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed the officials to improve the delivery of citizen services, particularly by adopting advanced technologies.

Addressing a review meeting on Real-Time Governance System (RTGS) on Monday (November 24, 2025), CM Naidu said the departments must embrace technology to achieve the stated goal.

He directed that no works should be undertaken in rural areas without the public consent through the Grama Sabhas.

The Chief Minister also ordered that the Ministers and people’s representatives should undertake field visits to sort out the issues being raised by the people. He emphasised the importance of accountability in implementing the government schemes and rendering citizen services.

He insisted that the government departments should complete various works by giving priority to those not having financial implications.

“The mobile app of AWARE (Andhra Pradesh Weather Forecasting and Early Warning Research Centre) should be launched at the earliest with 42 features,” he instructed the officials.

Further, Mr. Naidu said all the government departments should be connected to the Data Lake for better service delivery and data-based decisions.

He suggested that the services provided by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to devotees and the manner in which the temple trust board deals with massive crowds should be studied and replicated in other temples in the State.

A workshop on good governance would be held in December, he said, adding that training programmes should be conducted to enhance the administrative capabilities of officials.
