Arrangements are in full swing for the inauguration of Dr. Manmohan Singh Earth Sciences University of Telangana by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in Kothagudem of Bhadradri Kothagudem district on December 2.
According to official sources, the university, the first of its kind higher education institution dedicated for earth sciences in the country, will soon start functioning in the coal town of Kothagudem in the mineral-rich district.
Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao on Sunday visited the university building site near the Integrated District Offices Complex (ICDS) in Kothagudem.
He reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s ensuing visit to Kothagudem for inauguration of the University. Collector Jitesh V. Patil and others were present.
