Sarika handing over the money for the nomination papers of CPI candidate A. Jayadevan.
In a touching moment of gratitude, Sarika , mother of Adit Krishna, a boy who underwent a life-saving kidney transplant, handed over the money for the security deposit of CPI candidate A. Jayadevan, who is contesting from division 51 (Civil Station) of the Thrissur Corporation.
Mr. Jayadevan had played a leading role in mobilising ₹31 lakh required for Adit’s transplant when the family was struggling to raise the money.
As a symbolic gesture of gratitude, Ms. Sarika personally handed him the amount needed for security deposit. Mr. Jayadevan was a personal staff member of former Agriculture Minister V.S. Sunil Kumar.
