The police reconstructed the crime scene, for the second day in a row, as part of their investigation into the murder of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) former assistant vigilance and security officer Y. Satish Kumar, along the railway tracks between Juturu and Komali stations near Tadipatri in Anantapur district on Sunday (November 16, 2025).

The investigators had reconstructed the scene with one dummy body on Saturday (November 15), however, three dummies were thrown out of a moving train near the spot where Satish Kumar’s body was found on Sunday.

Simultaneously, police examined the details of the passengers who travelled in the A1 coach of Rayalaseema Express in which Satish Kumar travelled on Thursday midnight.

Satish Kumar, during his tenure as AVSO caught a volunteer stealing foreign currency during counting in Parakamani but later entered into a settlement in the Lok Adalat following disposal of the case. The case was later reopened and the CID is investigating into it. Satish Kumar was on his way to Tirupati to depose before the CID when he died under mysterious circumstances.
