43 candidates from Telangana selected for Civil Services interview

As many as 43 candidates from Telangana were selected for the interview (personality test) of the Civil Services examination during the current year [2025].

The 43 youth are part of the 202 candidates from the State who were selected for the Civil Services Mains examination and received financial assistance of ₹1 lakh assistance each as part of the Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastam scheme. Public sector mining company Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) extended the financial assistance to the qualified candidates.

With the selection of 43 candidates for the interview, the total number of candidates who were selected under the Scheme in two years reached 342 entailing financial assistance of ₹3.62 crore. The scheme was launched last year.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhattu Vikramarka welcomed the selection of 43 candidates for the Civil Services interview . They would be provided accommodation facilities in New Delhi during their preparation.

He said the results once again demonstrated the Government’s commitment to help the aspiring youth and wished the selected candidates success in the interview.
