In the wake of the Delhi Red Fort blast, the operators of the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru have asked passengers to arrive early and allow sufficient time for travel formalities.

“Due to enhanced security measures at airports across the country, we request all passengers to plan their travel and arrive at the airport well in advance. This will ensure a smooth journey providing sufficient time to complete security checks without delays. For flight related information, please stay in touch with your respective airline. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep your travel safe and seamless,” said a passenger advisory issued on Tuesday.
