Telangana BJP released a chargesheet against the Congress government and termed the ‘hand’ symbol of Congress, not a “hand of assurance” (Abhaya Hastham) but a “hand of destruction (Bhasmasura Hastham).

Speaking to media on Saturday, BJP State president N. Ramchander Rao said that the 23 months of Congress regime was destructive. He said that the 60-page manifesto, released before the 2023 elections, included 420 promises, 13 key pledges and a commitment to implement six guarantees within 100 days after coming to power. But, now 1,000 days have passed and not even a single promise has been fulfilled.

The BJP chief alleged that the Congress government has failed in all front as students were suffering due to delayed free-reimbursement, Aarogyasri services in hospitals were not being property delivered to patients due to crore of rupees arrears to hospitals pending and farmers’ condition was pathetic as loan waiver was yet to be implemented.

He strongly condemned Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s recent comments on issues of national honour, the sacrifices of soldiers and national security, labelling them as unfortunate and irresponsible. “Such remarks hurt the sentiments and pride of the Telangana people,” he asserted.
