APFSL Assistant Director Bommakanti Phani Bushan wins “Kendriya Gruhamanthri Dakshita” Award-2025.

Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory (APFSL) Assistant Director (DNA Wing) Bommakanti Phani Bushan has been selected for the ‘Kendriya Gruhamanthri Dakshita’ Award-2025.
This is the first time that an officer from Andhra Pradesh has been selected for the award, said Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta, and congratulated Mr. Phani Bushan.
The APFSL has won the award for the tremendous support of the government in taking up several reforms, including allocation of funds, technical support, providing necessary equipment and for clearing the pending cases on time, the DGP said in a statement on Friday (October 31, 2025).
“The award is announced in connection with the birth anniversary Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel every year. During his 28 years of service, Mr. Phani Bushan extended good services in serology and DNA sampling and played vital role in solving critical cases,” said APFSL Director G. Pala Raju.
