BHEL donates medical equipment to government hospitals in Ranipet

The Boiler Auxiliaries Plant (BAP) of BHEL in Ranipet has donated medical equipment, including an LDR cot, an autoclave machine, and a Fowler cot, worth ₹5 lakh, to government hospitals and health centres in the district.

According to a press release, the donated equipment was given under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of BHEL. The beneficiary hospitals included the Government Taluk Hospital in Walajah and Arcot towns, the District Public Health Laboratory and the Urban Primary Health Centre in Ranipet town.

Collector J.U. Chandrakala received free medical equipment from M. Arunmozhi Devan, Executive Director, BAP. She also appreciated the contribution of BHEL Ranipet towards social responsibility, which makes a positive impact on health and medical services, the release said.
