Workshop on textile waste management

Green Worms-Sustainable waste management solutions, in collaboration with Intellecap’s Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF), is hosting a one-day multi-stakeholder workshop on October 30 at Thamarassery, to mark the completion of two years of its flagship programme ‘Closing the Loop on Textile Waste (CTL).

The workshop will convene recyclers, upcyclers, policymakers, brands, funders, innovators and ecosystem enablers to share insights, showcase on-ground practices, and explore collaborative solutions to advance textile circularity. It aims to share the learnings from the CTL programme, demonstrate on-ground processes and best practices for post-consumer textile waste recovery and reuse, discuss sector-wide challenges and solutions to advance textile circularity and strengthen collaboration between stakeholders in the textile value chain, besides obtaining intent from ecosystem players to participate in the textile waste value chain.

A roundtable on ‘Building an ecosystem for circular textile waste management’ will be an integral part of the workshop.
