The City Crime Branch police have arrested seven members for their involvement in gambling during a late night raid at the residence of social activist Divya Hagaragi, at old Jewargi road in Kalaburagi on Wednesday (October 22, 2025) night.
Ms. Divya Hagaragi is one of the main accused in PSI examination scam that surfaced during 2023. The police have detained seven members and confiscated cash of ₹42,000 from them.
Police detained Divya Hagaragi, Raju Lengti, Shivasharnappa Mashal, Ravindra Mankar, Sangamesh Naganahalli, Mallinath Mangalagi and Bhagwan Jakori.
A case has been registered at Station Bazar police station.
