RGUKT-Etcherla to host IBM Qiskit Fall Tech Fest

IBM Quantum will host Qiskit Fall Tech Fest-2025 at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies-Etcherla in Srikakulam from October 21 to 27. The event aims to create awareness on Quantum computing, one of the world’s fastest emerging technologies.

According to a press release from RGUKT Director KVGD Balaji, IBM selected 55 institutions from around the world based on infrastructure of the institutions and academic interest of the students.

RGUKT was selected following an impressive presentation by students Katam Nikhil Teja, Ch. Praveen Kumar, Ch. John Babu, K. Gunasri and D. Kasim Vali on quantum technologies.

The tech event will enable the youth to participate in workshops, training sessions and they will get hands-on-experiences in emerging technologies.

Srikakulam Collector Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar congratulated the students and said that the tech fest would enable students to directly interact with eminent academicians and IT experts including IBM Quantum adviser L. Venkata Subramanyam and others.

Administrative officer Muni Ramakrishna, Dean Shiva Ramakrishna and Finance Officer Vasu, along with others are coordinating the arrangements for the tech fest.
