Woman found dead on the railway track in Dharwad

A 24-year-old woman who was preparing to appear for competitive examination was found dead on the railway track in Dharwad on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Pallavi Kaggal, a resident of D. Kaggal village in Ballari district.

She was residing in Shivagiri of Dharwad for making preparations for competitive exams.

According to Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar, two death notes have been found in which the victim has cited health issues and personal reasons.

The body was handed over to her parents after postmortem at KMCRI in Hubballi.

Meanwhile, the parents of the young woman told presspersons that their daughter had health issues because of which she was upset.

Pallavi was a B.Com graduate and had come to Dharwad to appear for competitive examinations.
