Government Arts and Science College, Kondotty, celebrated its merit day, ‘Eminentia 2025’, on Wednesday (September 10, 2025), honouring 22 outstanding students who excelled academically and in arts and sports.

Principal Secretary Raju Narayana Swamy, who was the guest on the occasion, stressed that the ultimate goal of education would be the cultivation of human values. The real ingredients of success are hard work, consistency, wide reading, and time management, he said.

The college’s Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) holds the merit day annually to felicitate the achievers in academics, arts and sports.

College principal V. Abdul Latheef presided over the function. IQAC coordinator Abida Farooqui, Commerce department head O.P. Vineesh, fine arts secretary P. Muhsin spoke.
