A Forest Beat Officer posted at Nadimigudem in Gundala forest range was arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Thursday, April 30, while accepting a bribe of ₹10,000. The accused, Banoth Naresh, had demanded the amount to avoid interfering in the cultivation of five acres of assigned podu land in Venkatpuram village.

According to the ACB, the bribe amount was recovered from the officer’s possession. He was arrested and produced before the special court for SPE and ACB cases in Warangal. The case remains under investigation.
